Hey everyone, it's been a while since our last post! We've been hard at work updating the tile set, and we've even taken the time to tidy things up and fix some tiles that weren't up to our standards. But before we get to the exciting news, we want to take a moment to pay our respects to those tiles that didn't quite make the cut.

Now, for the good stuff: we've added new tiles that we're really excited about! We've also made improvements to the existing ones, so everything should look even better than before. 

Weird bush! 

I don't know what I was thinking when I created you, weird blob of pixels. You were never used and yet somehow survived a revision! Sadly, we had to say farewell to you, but nobody will miss you.

Asymmetrical tree

We had two kinds of trees in the props section: one that was symmetrical and another that was not. Sadly, the asymmetrical tree didn't survive the purge. The more we tested it, the more we disliked it.

Weird mountain

Not all the weird sets were removed in this purge! But we did make some changes, and one of them was to the mountain. It was too round and didn't fit well with the rest of the theme, which is more blocky and less round. So we changed it to look more like the other assets, and it survived the purge, but at what cost?

New Stuff!

So, removing the old has made space for new and cool stuff. We've created new rocks that can be placed on water tiles, and we're pretty happy with how they look in the scenes. We're sure you'll love them too when you try them out in your scenes.

It's weird that we had arrow signs, but we didn't have a normal square sign! Unbelievable, but now we have them!

To all the kind souls who have downloaded the tileset, we hope you're enjoying it and creating cool stuff with it. We'll keep working and improving, so stick with us and you'll see!
